“Exploring options” has come up a few times for just counting yesterday and this morning.\u00a0 The finance headhunter calls.\u00a0 The recruiter calls.\u00a0\u00a0 At lunch with a friend, my “options” with my up-and-coming photography business and Drifting Pretty.\u00a0 I guess you could say I have a lot of options right now.\u00a0 Its a good thing, but the uncertainty of it all is a little nerve racking.\u00a0 I’m at a crossroads.<\/p>\n

I was sitting in the drive-thru yesterday, thinking about options…\u00a0 reading emails, and a good friend forwarded me a link.\u00a0 I usually delete those, but this friend doesn’t send me much ever, so I checked it out.\u00a0 It ended up being a fantastic read.\u00a0 It very much rang home with the options stuff! \u00a0 It was titled “The 10 things I’ve learned.”\u00a0 It was an essay, and was listing out the top 10 things he’s learned in life.\u00a0 The ones that really hit home for me were these:<\/p>\n

• You can only work for people that you like<\/li>\n
• Some people are toxic, avoid them.<\/li>\n
• less is not necessarily more<\/li>\n
• how you live changes your brain<\/li>\n
• doubt is better than certainty<\/li>\n
• tell the truth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  I haven’t had a chance to download the photos from this weekend’s project.\u00a0 So for now, I’ll leave you with my favorite shot from my work’s “Team Building” day out.\u00a0 We spent an entire workday at Downtown Disney & K1 Speed.\u00a0 How fun is that!?<\/p>\n
